I have been a huge fan of the Brushwork cosmetics range for years, they are beautifully crafted and high quality makeup brushes and much to my bank managers chagrin, the company has expanded its makeup range.
Starting with the brushes, they are now primarily synthetic and for me the powder and blush brushes are top of the line, I am actually going to spend a big chunk of my own money on buying up sets of the new sculpting kit, consisting of a tapered blush, tapered contour and the beautiful tapered contour brush.
The foundation brush is of the chubby handled style that is suited to working with all varieties of foundation from cream to powder and when teamed with the fingertip shaped concealer brush you have a base kit that is an artist dream.
Although it is currently out of stock, I do have both the synthetic and the original goat hair powder brush and let me say up front BOTH are fantastic brushes and worthy of adding to your working kit or for your own personal use.
Limited though they are, Brushwork cosmetics does have two eye brushes, a cats tongue shaped eye brush ideal for the application of pigments and shadows and the small brow brush which is more about definition than the very boring and phased out) insta-brow, more on trends later.
Newer to the range is something I am really keen to get my hands on: the beautiful multi purpose cream colour for eyes, lips and cheeks which comes in 4 stunning shades:
I’ll Say its Magenta?
The colours are universal and will most definitely be a part of my working very soon, especially now that the Lost Project is starting to build up its portfolio and bring new clients into the fold.
This is a must see brand for the professional and consumer market. Use code JamesC to receive 10% off your order (the good part I use this code to and its not a one time deal, you can use it again)!:
